Description
of community agency/organization:
Brampton Music Theatre has been bringing quality musical productions to the City of Brampton for over 40 years. Our goal is to be a truly inclusive group that offers our diverse and unique community the opportunity at any age to get involved with the Theatre Arts on stage, or behind the scene. Our main focus is to help the disadvantaged youth in the Brampton area as well as the local art schools get involved and work on developing their talents, no matter what area it may lie in. Our youth musicaltheatre programme offers an exciting exposure to dramatic arts, including acting, singing, dancing, technical theatre, and theatre etiquette. Children from 5 to 18 are eligible to enroll. The focus is on learning the theatrical process and creating theatrical works.
