Community organization dedicated to empowering people to take action locally and globally on social justice issues
Position Title:
Student Project Co-ordinator
What you will do:
TruthForce will be a mentor to a student who will design, plan, lead or help implement a project in their community that addresses a social or environmental issue. You can begin by volunteering with one of our current projects, which are (depending on your interest): a community garden, environmental campaigning, community library.
Skills required:
Self directed - motivated, creative, confident
Skills you will learn:
Leadership, organizational and administrative skills; computer/internet skills if you wish
Length of time required:
40 hours would be ideal
