Description
of community agency/organization:
A Canada wide company specializing in long term care. Residents are 18 years and older (mostly seniors). 150 residents on two storeys, one secure unit
Position Title:
Volunteer
What you will do:
there are a variety of options available, mostly involving front line contact with our residents, some office and reception duties
Skills required:
Excellent communication skills in English, Portuguese, Punjabi, or Greek.
Ability to push a wheelchair. Patience and kindness go a long way!

Motivational techniques to encourage residents. Feeding training. Documentation skills. Supervision of reasidents
Length of time required:
55 hours minimum for students
