| Contest Rules and Regulations: |
- This Contest is open to all current brampton.com subscribers
who are residents of Ontario and who registered their subscriptions
prior to July 30th, 2004. To qualify, entrants must be over 18
years of age. No purchase is necessary. To enter the contest,
entrants must submit the entry form above with a valid e-mail
address. If not currently subscribed, by submitting the contest
entry form, entrants agree to become subscribers to the brampton.com
e-mail newsletter and to receive e-mail information from Humber
Nurseries Ltd. There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple
entries will be discarded. If an entrant un-subscribes from the
brampton.com newsletter prior to July 30th, 2004, that individual
will be ineligible to win. All entries must be received by midnight
July 30th, 2004.
- The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries
received. The prize draw will be made in a random drawing in
Brampton, Ontario on August 16th, 2004.
- All entrants and winners must agree to abide by the rules
as outlined herein. The winner will be notified by e-mail or
telephone, and must correctly answer a time limited skill testing
question in order to win. If the winner cannot be contacted,
prize may be forfeited at the discretion of brampton.com and
an alternate winner declared. If winner cannot be contacted
by August 25th or declines the prize, another entrant will be
selected on August 26th. If the winner incorrectly answers the
skill testing question, another entrant will be selected on
or before August 26th. The name of the contest winner will be
published at http://www.brampton.com/drawresults.php,
or may be obtained by sending an e-mail request to info@brampton.com
- There will be one Grand Prize available to be won. Prize consists
of a one-week trip for 2 to an all-inclusive Sandals resort
in the Jamaica (or equivalent). Includes round trip charter
air transportation for two from Toronto, standard hotel accommodation
(double occupancy) for 6 nights, 3 meals daily plus snacks and
drinks, hotel transfers at the destination (airport/hotel/airport),
taxes and airport fees. The winner and traveling companion must
travel together. All travel arrangements are to be made through
brampton.com’s agent, to a Sandals location of brampton.com's
choice. This trip/vacation will be subject to availability and
blackout periods at the time of booking. All bookings are subject
to 100% cancellation penalties. Once the booking has been confirmed,
no changes can be made to the passenger names and/or date of
travel. All travel prizes must be taken by August 15th, 2005.
The approximate retail value of this prize is $6,000.
- Not included in this prize are any applicable connector airfares
and transfers to the Toronto airport, gratuities, porterage,
travel related fees, any agricultural, security and customs
fees, insurance, items of personal nature and any optional tours,
sightseeing, entertainment, food and beverages not included
in this package.
- The grand-prize winner and traveling companion are solely
responsible for obtaining and paying for all necessary passports,
visas, insurance, medical or health certificates, or proof of
identity or consents and all medical inoculations if required
for the trip. Contest Sponsors shall not be responsible or held
liable if winner and/or traveling companion is refused entry
or re-entry to any country.
- The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable
and has no cash value.
- By accepting the prize, the winner consents to having his
or her name, address, statements relating to the Contest, or
Contest Sponsors and photographs or other likenesses without
any further compensation, in any publicity carried out by Contest
Sponsors or any related entities in connection with this Contest.
- The Contest Sponsors will not be responsible or held in liability
for any technical, telecommunication, programming or other errors
that may occur in submission of contest entries, or for any
loss, injury or damage suffered by entrants, winners or traveling
companions in connection with this Contest or the grand prize
whatsoever.
- Before being declared a winner, eligible winner will be required
to sign a standard Contest declaration and release form, confirming
understanding, acceptance and compliance with the Contest rules,
acceptance of the prize as awarded and a release acknowledging
the non-responsibility of Contest Sponsors and their respective
officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively the
"Releases") in respect of injuries, accidents, loss
or misfortune related to the conduct of the Contest, awarding
of the prize and use and enjoyment of the awarded prize. The
traveling companion (or parent/legal guardian of traveling companions
under the age of majority) will be required to sign a standard
liability/publicity release. Said forms must be signed and returned
within 14 days of date of notification, or prize will be forfeited
and an alternate winner declared. If any prize notification
is returned as undeliverable, prize may be forfeited at the
discretion of brampton.com.
- brampton.com reserves the right to change the terms of the
Contest, including without limitation the value or destination
of the grand prize and the details of the all-inclusive package
or terminate it at any time, without prior notice.
